MADE TO ORDER TROUSERS

These are undoubtedly the best style of trousers I own. I spent the past six months perfecting the pattern so that the fit is extremely flattering and comfort is key. Well cut trousers in a great fabric are a liberating garment and nearly impossible to find, hence my decision to perfect my own pair. Following a lot of interest in these trousers that featured in my graduate collection, I have decided to make these to order. This gives you the opportunity to get your hands on a well cut pair of pants that are, depending on the choice of fabric, potentially one offs. They feature a slim yet relaxed leg, elasticized waist, front pockets and hand-finished hems - all of which make them not only flattering and wearable but comfortable also.

As I am making these made to order, there is flexibility in regards to fabric. You can let me know what style of fabric you are after and I can source for you, select a fabric I already have (swatches will be online shortly) or select a fabric yourself. These trousers work well in summer-weight and winter-weight fabrics.

Current sizes on offer are 6-12, and this style of trouser is very universally flattering and flexible when it comes to sizing. The nature of the style with the elasticized waist and looser fit through the top means that it is sympathetic to various shapes and proportions.

Fabric Available

The fabrics below are what I have currently have available. As mentioned above if you are after something particular I can source it for you. Cottons, linens and lightweight wools work best with this style.

100% Cotton.

White and black woven-in stripe.

Cotton/Silk in ivory. 

Features a subtle grain to it and a small amount of stretch thanks to the way it was woven.

100% Cotton. 

Mustard and white printed stripe.

100% Cotton check.

Tan, navy and brown with a small amount of blue.

Surface of fabric features a brushed finish with some intentional pilling.

However if this is not to your liking, let me know and I can use the reverse side.

 100% Polyester Memory Yarn in mustard.

This fabric is quite unique and interesting as it retains memory of creases and crumples - the wearing of it is visible on the garment as the day progressive. It irons well however and is easy to return to its original form.

100% Cotton check.

Black and ivory.

All trousers are handmade in New Zealand by myself.
