Firstly, a little bit of backstory. I recently moved out to the fringe of the city to a sprawling old farmhouse on twenty-five acres. One my favourite revelations about country living is the seemingly more abundant free time available. When you’re not tempted to pop out every half an hour you have far more hours in your day, not to mention a greater sense of resourcefulness.
This has all given me a greater sense of motivation when it comes to taking proper care and hand washing all the garments that deserve it (like all those sets of Lonely Lingerie that I've bought). So I've written a piece on the benefits of hand washing over at Undone Journal - you can read it here. x
