One thing you should do this weekend: The El Jay Sale

I know it's tempting to spend your weekend watching American Horror Story in bed with a glass of wine, but if you're going to put one thing in your diary for the next three days, make it the El Jay Sale.

Although it's closed it's doors back in 1988, iconic New Zealand fashion house El Jay will open them once more this weekend. The company was the former licensee and manufacturer for Christian Dior in New Zealand - run by designer and philanthropist Gus Fisher for over fifty years. Before they close up for good and rejuvenate the dis-used building, they will be selling of fabric, furniture and fittings - giving you the chance to own slice of history.

It starts tomorrow (sneak out of work!) and runs until Sunday. 8-12 Kingston St, Auckland City.
Friday 8th November 8:00am - 6:30pm
Saturday 9th November 9:00am - 4:00pm
Sunday 10:00am - 4:00pm
