The Row Pre Fall 13 - as usual, showing everyone how it's done

Season after season The Row does it better than everyone else. No compromising, no bowing to trends, and never trying too hard. It always just makes me want to be a better woman - and also, RICH! But independently so - because The Row's woman can handle shit herself (although she'd let her lover buy her leather goods and jewellery).

I'm super enamoured with the suits here - in both grey and silk. So practical and simple. Likewise the skirt shapes are exactly what I'm into right now - longer lengths and luxurious fabrics (particularly that black silk jacquard the appears in a few looks) and perfectly offset with classic pumps. The severity of the black silk looks are so simple and prove that satins don't have to be flouncy or saccharine. And it's even more fantastic in the wine hue. I wish I had the means and the lifestyle to dress like this all day every day. In the meantime, approximate as best you can.

  3. They always know what they're doing, don't they? It's the pieces I could never dream up myself and the adjustments to classics that I haven't ever seen. Oh boy, it's good. Thanks for the share.
