You want to see Ruby and Liam show at NZ Fashion Weekend?

Yeah you do! Ruby and Liam will be showing their spring 12/13 collections on the runway for the first time on the evening of Saturday 8th September. I've got two tickets to give away (that will also get you in to the epic annual Designer Garage Sale). Details after the jump.

Liam Spring 12/13

Thanks to the lovely team over at Cool Charm, I can give one lucky reader a pair of tickets and two prize packs. We all remember Cool Charm right? We used to use ridiculous amounts of it when I was fourteen - I still find the smell so ridiculously nostalgic. It's also all still really usefull to keep in places like your gym bag for when you need to smell all delicious and alluring but don't want to have a glass perfume bottle smashed all over your sexy Nike leggings.

To enter, simply tell me in the comments the most charming thing you like about Ruby or Liam or a particular product they've released over the past few years - maybe a dress you can't part with or a sweater you wear every day?
Ruby Spring 12/13

The prize pack includes two of each item so you can share with a friend (I guess the one you'll take with you to the show? Or alternatively you could charm two friend at once with this prize). Laptop sleeves, body sprays and roll on deodorant.

You can keep up to date with all of Cool Charm's fashion week coverage via their Facebook page.

  1. The Ruby 'Boy' Sweater has become a staple in my winter wardrobe, it's just so warm and comfy and pretty much goes with everything!

  2. Ahhh this would honestly be a dream to win! I have had my eye on this top in the latest Liam collection for so long - the floral print is just beautiful! It seems to keep on popping up in all of my wishlists at the moment! http://shop.rubynz.com/estore/style/ls1221jp.aspx

Another thing I love about Ruby is their stores. It's always such a treat to walk in - the décor is simple yet charming; the racks perfectly colour co-ordinated, the Ruby nail polish and pairs of shoes on display. I love it!

    Fingers crossed :)

  3. My favourite is by far the Liam midweek dress. So beautiful, it'll be my maid of honour dress at my bestie's wedding later this year. BUT in saying that, I think the Ruby bon bon heels may become my new favourite when it comes out. They will be perfect together :)

Awesome giveaway, keep up the good work xo

  4. I have a patterned Ruby smock dress from a few years ago that I absolutely love! It is my go to summer dress! Easy to just throw on and can be dressed up or down.

  5. Exciting! Haha my favourite cool charm was the frangipani one, but damn it would get a bit ott during P.E time at school.

In regards to what I find the most charming about Liam would be how refined and demure their clothes are whilst still being really bright and young and fun. I think that my jaw was around my ankles for the duration of their spot at the Fashion Festival. The Black Tie Dress, the Decided coat that I foolishly never pulled the trigger on, the florals. Damn.

  7. Most charming thing about Ruby is their service! The staff are the sweetest, loveliest girls ever. I feel like a treasured customer every time I walk in. Not to mention their hand written notes with online purchases. I had a cute floral top bought from Ruby old bank arcade about 4 years ago. Sadly my luggage got lost on a flight recently so it's no longer with me :( but I still miss it!

  10. I've never been to a fashion show before inn my life, but i think that the ruby and Liam fashion show it's the perfect place to start my obsession with fashion!

This years collection is amazing especially the touch of maroon. But a piece that yes been the most charming for me was the five shorts released a few years ago! Great in winter with stockings or summer with a tan!

  11. The most charming thing about Ruby and Liam is their beautiful fabrics and choice of style that most women can wear and feel comfortable in. the service at their stores is outstanding and they make me want to go every chance i have with their sweet nature.
I can not wait to buy the new decided 'white peony' shirt for this summer.

This would be a dream to win this and I must say i have been a supporter of Ruby for many years and have purchased from them since a young age but probably out of all the collections there is one piece i always seem to wear and that is the 'Lilac knit jumper with white roses on the sleeves', this may be 3/4 years old but it hasn't gone out of fashion like many of their styles. I am in love with it and cannot bring myself to parting from it. plus i regally get comments on it and am asked where its from.

    Thanks Briar

  13. Ooh tough choice, but my ownership/hoggership of the Pop On blazer in both grey marle and dusky pink says it all.

  14. Although I don't own it (yet..) the Ruby Taylor dress in polkadots is so gorgeous, simple but I think defines the whole cute/pretty/little bit edgy aesthetic of Ruby. I love how u feel so lovely in all of their clothes.

  17. Ruby and Liam both represent a style and individuality that anyone can wear. No matter who you are or what your style is, you will be able to find something from their collections that you LOVE. My Madame Hawke Garden Skirt is my favourite piece from Ruby I own. They manage to create covetable prints that can be worn by many ages, and can be slotted in to almost every girl's wardrobe in New Zealand. Ruby stores all over New Zealand project a welcome comfort when you go inside them, and the stores display the clothes beautifully. As a young fashion student this would be AMAZING if I won this. I am travelling up from the south island to Auckland to help work at fashion week and a ticket to the Ruby show would be an indescribable experience for me!! I have been a Ruby follower for many years, and to see their new collection as soon as it comes out and not just in photos would be such a fantastic thing.

  18. It's a tough choice between something old and something new. I have a pair of Ruby shirts that must be literally eight seasons old now, and every summmer I continue to wear the hell out of them. They are the perfect fit and I think it speaks volume of the quality of Ruby that they're still going countless music festies later.

More recently, the Boy Sweater, that became this seasons wardrobe staple for me. So comfy but still so pretty. It doesn't matter if I'm hungover on the couch in trackies or pairing it with a great collar and skinnies at dinner, it still charms the pants off everyone.

Although, at the end of the day, the best part of shopping at Ruby is the staff - they are the real charmers!!!

  19. I think my Puddle romper from their AW12 collection is pretty charming. I live the playful ones-ness sexed up with the high neck and slit back.
Also loving their ad campaign for Run Run Run - can't go wrong with candy floss :)
