As mentioned recently, Jimmy D's spring collections are always my favorites (a bit more playful and tongue in cheek) and this season is no exception. "Rising Sun, Melting Moon" explores the many facets of Tokyo pop culture - from Kawaii to Kabukicho . That darker Jimmy D aesthetic that we know so well sits side by side with perfectly sickly-sweet pinks and the athletic references Dobson also loves. The latter in particular being my absolute favorite in this collection. I'm all about the sporty prints in the black mesh and the t-shirting (will absolutely be getting my hands on some of those). Luminous makeup by Corrina Lyon for MAC and those fantastic donut earrings are the perfect finishing touch. As is Lili Sumner who returns (recently from London in fact) as the face of Jimmy D again - that girl is one of my favorite local faces right now. Below are all my favorite looks, but you can see the whole lookbook here (shot by Oliver Rose and styled by Chris Lorimer).
