NYFW: Rachel Comey Fall 12

Rachel Comey's fall offering is far more sober and neutral than usual - moving away from those signature prints into a more mature and classic exploration. Which isn't a bad thing. I like it when a designer steps outside their comfort zone (whatever that may be). In this case, Comey still explored some really intriguing fabrics and finishes (metallics, laser cut leathers) and the knitwear was one of the strongest aspects of the collection for me.

  1. These were my faves from the collection too and are sitting safely in my inspo folder :)
Got to say Sneans/Snants are go [yusss...] and I loved the little stocking socks. Now figuring how I can turn my cars sunshade into a skirt....

  2. This collection is crazy amazing. My favourites were those Hepburn pants with the front slits. So Manhattan paired with the boxy wool jacket above. Love
