A nearly unrecognizable Georgia May Jagger does the cover honours for the winter issue of POP, alongside Freja on the other cover version. Although met with mixed reviews, Jagger's cover is definitely my favorite - it's refreshing to see her not looking like either Brigitte Bardot, Lara Stone or her iconic (and still stunning) mother Jerry. The brunette bob, demure mood and couture (last seasons Dior, pre the Galliano Fiasco) are all a change from the usual bombshell look she is styled as. The cover shot reminds me of Cecil Beatons work, particularly his portraits of titled or upper crust young women like that of author Nancy Mitford below. Naturally, as I'm obsessed with the Mitford sisters, I love it.
Georgia May Jagger was shot by Gillian Wearing and styled by Vanessa Reid for both the cover and an editorial.
