The collection features all the best pieces we've come to know and love from the girls - I own far too many of their sweet, cool dresses (and I'm not even a dress girl!) already, yet I am wanting more from this collection. Dangerous. The sweetness is offset as usual with the perfect juxtaposition of hair - this time in various incarnations of plaits, both done and freshly loosened. I love this touch as a plait is my go-to hair style of choice, and my hair always bears telltale waves of being freshly braided. I was also very pleased to see my go-to shoe of schoolgirl roman sandals (that I get a fair share of teasing about - I'm looking at you Murray) feature too. They are the perfect, casual and unisex foil to the delicately youthful dresses and sheer white fabrics.
This season also saw the return of the potraits that TwentySevenNames have used before. It's a cute idea and gives all the models and pieces a bit of individuality whilst also evoking that schoolgirl aesthetic that is so integral the the label's look.
Click through for some beautiful sketches too!
