The Department Store: Winter 10 Show

Wow it has been a mad mad mad weekend. Have not even caught my breath or had dinner! Working both days is bad for my energy (although good, of course, for my bank balance) and of top of that I've actually had to take myself out of the house and be social/human - not complaining however, as it was very very worth it. Lastnight was I Love Fashion And Lazers at Cassette 9. I discovered possibly the best drink - vodka with half orange Vitamin Water and half soda. Delish.

Friday night was The Department Store's show for Autumn/Winter 10 - with the powers that are Karen Walker, Black Box and Stephen Marr combined to put on a great show of their winter collections.

I always love getting the chance to see the Karen Walker collections on the runway - since my obsessions with each collection starts six months before when they show in New York, then I obsess, and then I nag poor Scarlet. "The Village" is one of my favorite collections for a long time, and with many other people considering how much of the crowd was kitted out in the collection (I wore my beloved seagull shirt and socks).

The appalachian goodness that is the Stolen Girlfriends Club "Welcome To Nowhere" collection was combined with Ksubi denim, Beau Coops, Tv and more.
