Wow I've got a few of these lately, guess it's that time of year. Here's a treat for everyone... The brand spanking fresh lookbook for
Karen Walker's new Eyewear collection
"Sun Gods". I may have got a little bit excited when I opened the email this morning.
Karen Walker Eyewear campaigns are always good (loved the vampires from the last one) but this ones especially brilliant. It's like the love child of Catholic Saint collectors cards, Aztec priests and Roman emperors. Well.. at elast thats what my mad imagination picked up straight away. But I tend to totally over reference then get way to excited.
More importantly though, is the whole point of the campaign - the GLASSES. My favorites are these two pairs; the
Number Six on the left and
Number One on the right - both look killer in the tortoiseshell. Im particularly partial to the endearingly dorky roundness of the
Number Sixes.
Both pairs also come in black..
The rest of the collection follows. Love the metal details, and an even larger round tortoiseshell pair.

I'm all about the circular shades, so whole heartedly agree with liking #6. Though I am drawn to them in black.
