Comey said before
her show that she wanted to create a "lighter" look for Fall - and I love her for it. I get a bit sick of all the heavy black and dark-hued layering that seems ubiquitous for Fall; I'm a girl who loves texture, prints and slightly off colours - all of which were strong and fresh at
Rachel Comey's show.
The prints especially hat a fantastic vintage feel yet looked thoroughly modern - especially nice to see. them in pants and shirts (it sometimes feels like printed fabric is reserved for dresses). I love that camel/caramel hues were such a key feature of Comey collection - such an underrated colour, yet it works so well with prints, neutrals and quirky colours. Sweet, prim blouses were also a great feature - the perfect match to the adorably frizzy hair (brushed out plaits I think).
I'm oddly quite loving that monochrome outfit in the centre, bottle green is a colour thats been really growing on me lately. It's and unexpected yet not obnoxious colour - quirky and different - and the use of different textures adds depth.

i always look forward to her stuff. love the patterns, floral pants are a weakness (love the last blue pair) ... although i have yet to find ones that actually look flattering on me. adore the green look too. my fav. colour to wear. u know i love ur show coverage.
