There's always something fresh, clean and modern about
Preen - without ever being clinical or overly bland. The asymmetric cut-outs of previous seasons had evolved into a more layered version
for Fall- with uber-cropped turtle-necks paired with bustier dresses (who'd have thought they'd ever look this sexy). I pairing of lingerie detailing with suiting on the middle dress that somehow really works - the structure of molded cups and details like flap pockets.
My favorite parts however was the slick slick, cool outwear in black or the palest tan and the crisp white shirts. So simple yet so bold and eye catching.
Style.com referred to this part of the collection as "husband dressing" as opposed to "boyfriend" which I think is spot on - this is no flirty, one night stand. Instead having a quiet, proud, powerful maturity which is very refreshing.
